watching Shemar with his mother brought back bittersweet memories of me and my mom. My mom passed away a little over 2 weeks ago. Every day you have together with your mom is a blessing.

YOUR MOM IS A BEAUTIFL WONDERFUL LADY. WHO DOES DESERVE THE BEST THAT LIF CAN BRING HER. I HAVE STRUGGLED BAD AS A SINGLE MOM AND I TO HAVE A WAONDERFUL 14 YR OLD SON WHO IS BEAUTFUL AND RESPECTFUL. I THINK THE STRENGHT THAT WE PASS ON TO OUR CHILDEN, IS WHAT MAKES THEM SUCH STRONG WELL ROUNDED HUMAN BEING, AND ASETS TO SOCIETY. MY SON S MENTAL HEALTH ISSES AND ASPERGERS, BUT HE IS MY LIFE ALWAYS AN FOREVER.

  4. Thank you for being the way you are, your true self. Your mom did a great job, she deserves great respect. She is a real fine and nice lady. Its so great to see your soul and heart connection. And as a mom myself, we only want the best for our children, give it our best shot to accomplish this. Its good to see that your career didnt change the way you are…..I learned about you when I started looking at Criminal Minds here in Holland…I now have to wait for many monts for the dvd of season 8. In the mean time I follow you on your website, so great you take time for us, your fans, knowing you have a busy schedule. You and your mom have a place in my heart…Be blessed you both…love you…Yvonne

  5. It’s a peculiar thing, reaching your early forties. It must bring out something specific in the human experience, perhaps a more empathetic side of yourself that connects with your adult parent(s). I’m going through a very similar transition into a different relationship with my parents. I’ve never been a person of great faith; instead my guide has long been the desire to be the person my parents raised me to be. Making decisions based on the ethics and morals that would best represent who they are. This was a very touching interview with your Mom and I saw some of the same things my parents might say about me. You are a fantastic example of what a man can be, should be, and if were still of “child-bearing age”, I’d likely stalk you ;). No need to ever respond or retweet, I don’t need your attention, just keep being you.

  6. Sooo beautiful. I watched this when it aired..I was crying like a baby…nothing greater than mamma love. I am so proud of you Baby Boy. Sending tons of hugz & loves from Oregon. PEACE!

  7. Shemar, you are such an inspiration, & love your quote “It ain’t how you start, it’s how you finish” I can really relate to you. I’m also mixed and had problems growing up with race. People would always stare. I’m only 19 so it ‘s probably not as severe as when you were a kid but similar. People should date who they want and not care about the color. My family is so mixed it’s not funny. But me, I’m basically white & black. I like the fact that you get along well with your mom. Unfortunately, I didn’t get along with mine, because she was abusive. But luckily, I have someone similar in my life like your mom. My grandmother. She really was my partner in crime. I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter who it is in your family who cares for you. Just as long as you have someone. I mean, I had to learn that, being that I never knew my father. So in a way we are a lot alike. I want to inspire people through my writing, and would hopefully like to do acting like you. So I hope you see this. That would really make my day. Continue to be a kind, decent man, and I’ll continue to inspire & be your BabyGirl <3
